ADAPT JAZZ

The ADAPT (Associated Dance Arts for Professional Teachers) Jazz Syllabus is a renowned Canadian-based training programme established in 1979. It focuses on offering a high-standard, structured and progressive Jazz dance education for dancers from the age of 3.

ADAPT syllabus is adopted by over 175 dance studios worldwide. In some Canadian districts, ADAPT examinations are even recognised by the Board of Education as high school credit opportunities.

ADAPT Jazz aims to build strong technical foundations and artistic expression. Musicality and safety are also emphasised throughout the syllabus. Yearly ADAPT examinations will motivate dancers to grow, refine their skills and strive for their best throughout their dance journey. Each exam creates a meaningful milestone where students are assessed by professional examiners to receive constructive feedback and recognition for their progress. Graded certificates and evaluation reports will be distributed to candidates, while exceptional dancers may earn the prestigious Medal of Merit Award.
